Thanks to all who were able to join us for our April artwalk event. We might be one of the few orchestral organizations who can boast that breakdancing spontaneously occurred during our event. Things have been quiet over the summer while we continue to plan our next concerts. We hope to keep pushing the envelope with each event being more compelling than the last. We have some exciting work underway to develop the concept for next time, but it is taking more planning than any of the previous events, and we are expanding our team. Stay tuned for more details.
In the meantime, we are pleased to announce that composer Jenni Brandon has joined our team as our Composer Liason. With her help, we have recently launched our Composer Consultation Service (CCS) as a way to help provide access to top-notch professional instrumentalists to the broader the community of living orchestral composers. Even though our current submission deadline has passed, we hope to be offering another opportunity soon.
